December Question of the Month – an irregular series

bnr_askaquestionThe reference librarians at Seattle Public Library are pretty darn amazing. They don’t know everything, instead they know where to find everything. As part of an irregular series of posts we salute the talented and dedicated reference staff at your local library. Names and other identifying information have been removed from the questions we showcase. Got a stumper?
Click on Ask a Librarian. It’s what we do.

I left my poinsettia in the car last night and it froze. Any chance that it will come back in the next few weeks with some judicious pruning or some other miracle?

poinsettia photo courtesy of James GagenI’m sorry to report that things do not look too hopeful.  Here are some links to poinsettia care with special reference to freezing situations. In addition, you may want to consider giving Swanson’s (782-2543) or Molbak’s (1 (866) 466-5225) a ring to ask their advice.

We hope this information will be helpful – and Good Luck.
