Do you have a question for the city but you don’t know where to start? The City of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods and the Library are here for you!
Over the next few months, the Department of Neighborhoods (DON) is hosting monthly community office hours at select Library locations to make it easier for Seattle residents to talk to someone at the City of Seattle.
During this time, anybody is welcome to stop by and visit with a DON community engagement coordinator to ask questions, seek help, or share ideas.
Find out more at DON’s blog post, or at The Seattle Public Library’s calendar (search “office hours”). Here is a schedule of the monthly office hours at branches:
- Beacon Hill Branch: Third Wednesday of the month, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Douglass-Truth Branch: Fourth Friday of each month from noon to 3 p.m.
- High Point Branch: Second Tuesday of the month, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Lake City Branch: Fourth Friday of the month, from noon to 3 p.m.
- Northgate Branch: Second Friday of the month, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Rainier Beach Branch: Second Wednesday of the month, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- South Park Branch: Fourth Tuesday of the month, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Community engagement coordinators can help you access information about City programs and services (including translated materials); share community concerns, ideas and celebrations; and build relationships with City representatives.
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming DON office hours. Many thanks to our partner Department of Neighborhoods!
