One of the library’s best kept secrets is our collection of always available digital books and audiobooks. They can be checked out simultaneously, and checkouts are unlimited. Perfect for book groups or reconnecting with a personal favorite, these collections provide 24/7 access to timeless classics alongside brand new releases.
The library just added “Mysteries and Thrillers Without the Wait,” a collection of nearly 500 mystery and suspense ebooks. From cozy corners of the English countryside to high-stakes legal showdowns, this collection has something for every fan of the genre. Stick with a classic from authors such as Margery Allingham, Agatha Christie, John Dickson Carr, Graham Greene, Ruth Rendell, and Anne Perry, or discovery something new.
We’re in the second year of offering a “Romance Any Time” collection. With nearly 2,000 ebooks covering everything from historical and Christian romance to queer romance and romantasy, there’s something for every reader to swoon over. Both the Mystery and Romance collections are refreshed every quarter with 25% new content, so you’ll (probably) never run out of something new to read.
Finally, we’ve updated our “Always Available Audio” collection, which has nearly 300 audiobooks, with dozens of new titles. For readers of classic fiction, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, James Baldwin, Gabriel García Márquez, Jack Kerouac, Leo Tolstoy, and Virginia Woolf are available for your listening pleasure.
