Do you like the convenience and currency of reading news online, but are tired of reading it on tiny monitors? Do you want access to more electronic newspaper content than is
available for free on the web?
If so, come try the two new Newspaper Reading Stations in the Magazines and Newspapers Department on Level 6 of the Central Library. You’ll have access to over 1400 newspapers in four of the Library’s databases, including the Seattle Times, the New York Times, USA Today and so many more. There is no time limit on these reading stations, so you can read the world’s news at a leisurely pace. Although printing is not currently an option, articles can be downloaded to a USB drive and also emailed. The reading stations cannot be reserved.
Come give them a try! Magazine, Newspapers and Periodicals Staff will be nearby to answer any questions you might have.
