A perfect opportunity to explore dimensions of design arrives this fall with the first three programs in an exciting six-part series featuring internationally recognized experts in architecture and industrial, interior and landscape design. The series, Design in Depth: Solving Problems with Design, is co-sponsored with the Seattle Architectural Foundation.The range and variety of topics are sure to stimulate conversation, engage listeners and increase understanding and appreciation of architecture and design. In addition to the series the resource list With Design in Mind highlights related materials in the library’s collection on the subject.  The second part of the series begins in January 2011 and features a lecture on sustainable lighting, a Pecha Kucha event and a presentation on urban agriculture. Each event is at the Central Library.
