I’ve started getting together with a friend for “Crafternoons” where we work on projects –everything from painting to sewing to decorating with silver leaf. While we work on our projects we’ll talk and laugh, but also just sit in comfortable silence. We tend to do a lot of daydreaming as well…owning our own farm on Whidbey, opening a grocery store near Mt. Rainier, and marrying our own lumberjack brainiacs (in our heads they exist). But really just getting together to be inspired by one another and encouraged is the best part of the experience.

Design Sponge at Home by Grace Bonnie
I’ve been following the Design Sponge blog for years so you can bet I was excited when I found out this infamous blogger was going to come out with a book! Her take on the modern home is fun and feisty.

Never has decorating and remodeling your home been so simple and budget friendly. This book is also bloggers turned authors and I’m very thankful for it!
