Authors and publishers have wasted no time releasing new romance titles for 2015, and dozens of savvy library patrons are already on the request lists! While waiting for the new ones, this is a great time to read the previous titles from top romantic suspense authors.
Local author Jayne Ann Krentz never keeps her fans waiting long for another smart, sexy and suspenseful tale, and she released Trust No One just after the New Year. Naturally, there are at least 100 people already waiting for this one! Her previous book, 2014’s River Road, bends and twists like its title, and you have a much better chance of picking it up today!
If you haven’t explored Karen Robards’ page-turning supernatural suspense series featuring ghost whisperer and serial killer expert Dr. Charlotte Stone, you can catch up with the first three books before the fourth book arrives later this year. Her Last Whisper came out this past summer, but start with the gripping first installment The Last Victim. Robards’ series features grisly murders, unpredictable plots and plenty of heat from suitors both alive and dead. What’s not to love?
Sandra Brown has long made a name for herself in the Romantic Suspense genre, and her books still appear on the New York Times bestseller list. Her most recent, Mean Streak, still has a wait list, but you won’t have to wait as long for her prior novel, Deadline. Brown is a go-to author for characters you can root for and plots that keep you guessing.
