W.W. Norton is the latest publisher to make their ebooks available to libraries, and the library has added more than 350 titles to the digital collection in OverDrive. Here are some of the highlights.

FICTION.
For fans of literary thrillers, check out Patricia Highsmith; start with Strangers on a Train, the basis of the Hitchcock film of the same name. If gritty fiction is your thing, you can choose from Chuck Palahniuk (start with Fight Club) and Irvine Welsh (start with Trainspotting). There’s also the historical fiction of Patrick O’Brian, the introspective novels of Clarice Lispector, the witty work of P.G. Wodehouse, books from the literary lion W.G. Sebald, two-time Booker Prize nominee Muriel Spark, and tales of espionage from David Ignatius. If you’re looking for a new release, Anne Enright’s The Green Road and Vu Tran’s Dragonfish are among your choices. 

NON-FICTION.
Are you a science geek? If so, there’s popular (and hysterical) science writer Mary Roach (begin with Stiff) and beloved astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson (author of The Pluto Files) to choose from. There’s also the work of naturalist Diane Ackerman (of The Zookeeper’s Wife); Mexican cookbooks from chef Rick Bayless; economic treatises from Paul Krugman and Joseph Stiglitz; political analysis from Fareed Zakaria; and exposées from bestselling author Michael Lewis (including Moneyball, The Blind Side and Flash Boys). Classic works like The Feminine Mystique, Guns, Germs & Steel and How to Lie With Statistics are available alongside current bestsellers Confessions of a Comma Queen and Daughters of the Samurai.
