Star Trek: These classic science fiction movies offer excellent stories that boldly go into exploration and have a variety of characters that you’ll love. It could work for younger folks, but use your best judgement, the Borg can be completely terrifying.
Moonstruck – This is an comic that has an awesome queer focused coffee shop story and the quest for a centaurs missing rear half! Funny and perfect in nearly every way!
Monstress: This fantasy comic follows a post war young woman trying to figure out the story of who and where her mother is, while having an eldritch monster that lives as her arm. Amazingly detailed and beautiful art will keep you captivated.
ADULT
Hellboy: I always love a good super powered tale, this one brings the supernatural to life with the man with the big red hand, Hellboy. This movie draws you in and captivates you into an action packed story. Do note this movie is rated R for violence, so do use your discretion if children are present.
Red Vs. Blue: In various movies and TV shows, a group of ragtag Halo soldiers deal with various conundrums both funny and odd. This is a fun escape for even the most trying times.
Pretty Deadly: A western comic where Death’s daughter rides west on a path of retribution, featuring amazing women throughout. With epic illustration and storytelling this one draws you in and creates a dynamic world that will make you put all else aside.
