Are you pivoting your business and looking for market data to support the viability of your plan? Are you a self-employed small business owner, gig worker, or contractor who is trying to figure out which of the COVID-19 financial relief programs will work for you?
Over the past few weeks, new details on the different relief programs have been emerging daily and we know the amount of information can feel overwhelming. With so much going on, The Seattle Public Library’s Library to Business team is here to help you find and make sense of the information you need during this critical time.
-
- We help with market and industry research, to help you find information about your potential customers, competitions, and trends in your market.
- We help nonprofits learn how to use our grant searching databases.
- If you need more technical help with application processes or documentation, we will connect you with partners who will help on that front.
You can schedule an online or phone Business Information Appointment with a librarian and/or send your questions to the team by by email.
The City of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development (OED) has a team of folks who are helping those that are applying for disaster relief programs navigate the application process and assemble the documents required. To access those services, contact OED directly at oed@seattle.gov or call 206-684-8090. OED has a weekly webinar that will give you the very latest information for businesses in our city. You can access the recordings and slides of prior sessions on the Bottom Line Blog.
We’ve been collecting some of the most helpful information in these COVID-19 resources lists for nonprofits and small businesses.
As always, we are here to support you with your information needs. Just reach out to us and we will help.
